Take a Walk Through Cuningar Loop's New Sculpture

Our final sculpture has been installed at Cuningar Loop, thanks to our artist in residence, Rob Mulholland, she’s called Evolve and we just wanted to tell you a little bit more about her.

The six-metre high stainless steel sculpture represents the transformation of Cuningar Loop from derelict land into the vibrant community woodland that it is today.

If you use the Downiebrae entrance to visit the park you will now walk under Evolve every time you visit.

Rob came up with the design after talking to some of the local community groups from Dalmarnock, Rutherglen and Bridgeton, who wanted the sculpture to portray the regeneration of the area and a sense of looking to the future.  We think it does just that.

Next time you visit make sure you take a wander over to see her, we think she's a beauty.  Let us know what you think
