Hop along to the woods this spring

Bunny hunts, duck races and crafts are just some of the activities that are going on in the Commonwealth Woods this Easter.

Castlemilk wood and Todd Wells woods in Easterhouse will host two free events for the whole family to take part in.

Castlemilk welcomed over four hundred people to its annual event this week [Wednesday, 16 April], where local people took part in an Easter bunny hunt through the woods, egg and spoon races, arts and crafts, as well as a duck race down the burn.

If you’re looking for more spring fun, come along to Easterhouse on Friday, 18 April and search for the Easter bunny hiding in the woods. The aim is to collect all the clues to help you find the bunny and you’ll win a chocolatey prize.
