Digging up the past

Preparation has already begun at Castlemilk wood ahead of its archaeological dig, Digging up the past, on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 Oct, from 12 until 3pm.

Richard Bolton, Community Woodland Officer, got a small team together and carried out a dig in the ancient woodland to try and find evidence of a motte running through the estate.

I wonder what else they’ll discover from the past?
