Photography competition: 2015 Commonwealth Woods Calendar
Win a photography masterclass with a professional photographer (worth £500)

We're looking for pictures of our Commonwealth Woods to feature in an official 2015 calendar that will be distributed in the Glasgow Evening Times.

Inspired by my local woods encourages you to explore and picture your local woods snapping wildlife, birds, trees, plants and landscapes.  Or it could be a picture of a community event or family day out.

The only requirement is that the picture is taken by you in one of our 14 Commonwealth Woods.

Have a look at some of the shortlisted pictures.

Found in the city and around Glasgow the woods are full of inspiration. We want an array of pictures across the seasons. Whether its picnics in Easterhouse, waterfalls in Castlemilk or families taking part in an outdoor activity, we want to see how people enjoy their local Commonwealth Woods.

People of all ages can take part.

The overall winner, as judged by a panel, will receive a photography masterclass with a professional photographer worth £500.

So take a trip to your local woods and get snapping!
